Advancement

The Cub Scout program is full of opportunities to recognize the achievements of your Cub Scouts. This training handout is not even close to a comprehensive list of all the recognition awards possible. Instead this is a starting point for learning about the wide variety of awards available. For more information on specific awards visit our Awards Page.

All advancement is tracked in Scoutbook: https://scoutbook.com/

Scoutbook is your #1 best resource for seeing advancement requirements and signing off requirements once your scout completes them. If you're having any trouble accessing Scoutbook, we're here to help!

HIKING AND TRAIL Recognition

We have a special tradition in Pack 345: once a cub has hiked 50 "Pack Miles" (meaning: hiking miles achieved during a Pack-organized hike) they are awarded a very special recognition... a Pack 345 Hiking Stick. These are great mementos of the hiking miles they've already done, and a great reminder of the hiking miles ahead of them.
