January 2014 day hike: Rodeo Lagoon to Pt. Bonita Lighthouse

Post date: Feb 20, 2014 7:47:26 AM

I'm trying to get my kids outside as much as possible while the weather is still fabulous. This Sunday we're going to hike in the Marin Headlands, and I invite you all to join us.

For those of you who did the Rodeo Lagoon hike earlier this year, we will follow pretty much the same route except we'll go down to visit the Pt. Bonita lighthouse.

Join us this Sunday for a hike from Rodeo Lagoon in the Marin Headlands to the lighthouse at Pt. Bonita.

This is mostly an easy hike on single-track trails (no strollers), with some steep and slippery sections where you'll need to watch the little ones.

We'll start at 1pm sharp, so please arrive 15 minutes early to get settled and find us.

Meet at the picnic tables in front of the Marin Headlands Visitor Center entrance.

Kids should carry their own backpacks including a snack and plenty of water!

Family and friends are welcome to join us.
