Honoring American Veterans at Presidio National Cemetery

On the Saturday before Memorial Day a group of Scouts from Pack 345 joined Cub Scouts, Boys Scouts, Girl Scouts, and other groups from around the Bay Area for a ceremony honoring the veterans buried at the Presidio National Cemetery. After hearing from some Scout leaders who have served in the military and listening to Scouts read the names of the 35 Medal of Honor recipients who are buried in the Presidio, we helped plant a small American flag at each of the more than 26,000 headstones.
