FOOD
We are planning on dinner and breakfast for everyone staying overnight at a cost of roughly $8 per person. We are also planning on s'mores at the campfire for everyone present. If you are coming just for the campfire, you're welcome to join us for s'mores but please eat dinner before you arrive. On Saturday the kids will get hotdogs and chips at the flag planting.
WHAT TO BRING
In addition to your camping gear and VERY warm clothes, please be sure to bring:
- full Class A cub uniform for Saturday flag planting
- flashlights
- earplugs if you are a light sleeper (I'm told the foghorn is very loud)
- checkbook for food, additional T-shirts that you ordered, SF Giants baseball tickets if any
There are bathrooms and running water on site.
GIANTS TICKETS
Noemi Robinson has received the tickets for the Boy Scout day at the SF Giants on July 21. If you ordered them, please bring money to pay for them.
DIRECTIONS & PARKING
The address of the campsite is simply "Central Magazine Road, Presidio". Cross street is Washington Blvd. It's on the hillside above Baker Beach.
We have reserved overnight passes for 16 cars. The first 8 cars to arrive can park at the site, and the next 8 cars to arrive will have to park a couple of blocks away. Please come check in with me when you arrive. You can unload your gear and I'll give you a slip of paper to put on your dashboard (plus a map if you have to park farther away).
Here's the list of people I'm expecting to bring a car. If you are not on this list or if you're thinking of bringing more than one car, let me know and we'll have to work out some carpooling:
Cheryl Cain
Anna Chan
Mike Conte
Deeci Gray-Schlink
Erin Grogan
Claire Janiak
Chris Kanelopoulos
Mel Manalo
Kevin McIntire
Will Ng
Suzie Rivadeneyra

If you are coming just for the campfire, there is some street parking at the Immigrant Point Overlook nearby, or we may be able to double-park for a while.
